Holy Week and Easter
Our annual united Holy Week services begin soon, so make sure they're in your diary and plan to participate: create space to prepare your head and heart for Easter.
Wednesday 1 April - 8pm - First Presbyterian Church
Thursday 2 April - 8pm - Ballynahinch Baptist Church (with Holy Communion)
Good Friday 3 April - 8pm - Ballynahinch Methodist Church
A note about our speaker for Holy Week: Ken Wilson, a past president of the Methodist Church, comes from Armagh and has worked in the West Indies and Ireland, North & South. He has been an early morning jogger for about 30 years, has run in several marathons, supports Man United and plays golf (badly!) every week.
Ken has two children and six grandchildren, is married to Ruth, and they love running Alpha Courses and the Walk to Emmaus weekends. They attend Movilla Abbey Methodist Church in Newtownards.
He's looking forward to journeying through Holy Week with us - please join in each night at 8pm!
Then on Easter morning (Sunday 5 April), our united Dawn Service will be at 6.30am, at the Windmill in Ballynahinch; moving to Edengrove Presbyterian Church for a bite of breakfast - It'll be worth the early morning climb!
