Churches Together in BallynahinchBallynahinch Methodist is one of four congregations in Ballynahinch who believe we should do more together than we do apart. Churches Together was born out of the More… initiative which sought to have more of the church on the streets of Ballynahinch. We hope that over time the Lord will strengthen the bonds between our various congregations so that one day we live and worship as one. Our facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/BallynahinchChurches |

Inspire MovementThe Methodist Church in Ireland is encouraging our engagement with the Inspire Movement, a "network of ordinary Christians who practice mission as a way of life, rooted in the love of God and neighbour. We seek a passionate spirituality that abides deeply with God and lives missionally in the world. It is our aim to help local churches become communities of mission-shaped disciples, and to help the formation of new missional communities with disciple-making at their heart." We use Inspire Fellowship Bands as a way of helping one another grow in God's love and grace. |

The Big House IrelandThe Big House exists to help young people to know God's love as they encounter Jesus and are cared for by the church, especially when they are dealing with difficult issues or circumstances. To do this we provide counselling, camps & weekends, and training for leaders. The hope is that at some point, "The Big House" will become a place as well as a people!
Kathryn Harte is temporary Project Director during 2014-15. |

Adopt a ChildIn simplest terms Adopt-A-Child is committed to sharing the whole gospel with children in need through its evangelistic Sponsorship Programmes and other integrated ministries currently mainly in Albania and Guatemala. The children receive good nutritional meals, basic medical and dental care along with spirital care. Children who are fed also can choose to attend Bible study classes after each meal. These are evangelistic in nature to begin with, and develop into discipleship classes.
Many people in our congregation sponsor children through AAC. |
